Welcome, EMPPD community: I’m Jenn Waltner, your new event coordinator. Pleased to meet you!
Some of you may know me as the owner of Phoenix & Lotus, a shop that specializes in independently produced tarot & oracle decks… I’ve been a vendor at EMPPD the last few years. Even if my name isn’t familiar, you may recognize the Traveling Tarot Trunks.
I’ll be working with some really great people to put together this year’s Eastern Mass Pagan Pride Day, slated for Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Winnekenni Castle in Haverhill. We’re looking for presenters, performers, readers and vendors that reflect the full range of pagan people and traditions in our region. The primary focus: building community and creating a welcoming environment for people of all ages and backgrounds to learn about different pagan paths.
Will this year’s event be different than past ones? Yes. And next year’s event will be different from this one, and so on and so forth. But don’t worry – you’ll still recognize plenty of familiar faces and the things you appreciate most about EMPPD. Want to make sure I know what you love about EMPPD? Email me at info@easternmasspaganpride.org.
In the next few weeks, we’ll be putting the call out for speakers, performers, readers, vendors, sponsors and volunteers. I’ve got years of experience running events ranging from fundraisers and sporting events to software user conferences: I want to make sure that everyone involved in EMPPD, in any capacity, knows exactly what to expect and understands how to get the
most out of their participation in the event. This should be fun and fulfilling for all of us.
Look for more announcements soon. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions for this year’s event, please let me know: info@easternmasspaganpride.org. I look forward to hearing from you.
Blessings – Jenn
